One place I love to visit when I’m in Yorkshire is Goathland – this lovely little village has attracted visitors since the 19th century! It’s a real gem. However, it’s now on even more ‘must-see’ lists, after its famous feature in ‘Heartbeat’ TV series, and also Harry Potter.
The Goathland Hotel – perhaps better known as ‘The Aidensfield Arms’ (Heartbeat reference)- is the perfect place to enjoy a nice drink, before taking a relaxing stroll, to enjoy the breath-taking scenery.
Goathland is around 30/40 minutes away from Filey, and definitely worth a visit when you’re staying with us!
